Medicare Supplement Plans

Medicare Supplement Plans, or "Medigap" Plans are supplemental insurance policies that you can purchase to fill the "gaps" in your coverage. A Medicare Supplement policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs like Copayments and Coinsurance. If you have original Medicare, and purchase a Medicare Supplement, your Medicare covers it's portion and then your Supplement pays the rest, after you've met your Part B deductible (if your plan doesn't cover it).  Medicare Supplement Policies don't cover everything, i.e., dental, vision, or hearing services. They also don't cover your prescriptions.
